There’s no better way to kick off NASCAR race weekend in Richmond than with a free festival on Thursday, September 5, at Richmond International Raceway. RVA’s Stars of NASCAR Festival features some of the top drivers in a Q&A session with fans, followed by live music from The Killing Daylights. Additionally, RVA food trucks will be on hand, with lots of tasty food options available for purchase.
Fans attending the Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday, September 7, will once again be able to take advantage of the “Park and Ride” shuttle program from downtown Richmond at the Richmond Coliseum parking lot. The shuttle service allows fans to park their vehicles and take a free shuttle to the main gate of America’s Premier Short Track.
Miller Lite is bringing the ultimate tailgate party venue to all fans, free of charge, at Richmond International Raceway prior to the Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7, NASCAR races. The Miller Lite Party Zone features live music, tailgate games, a mechanical bull, the Miller Lite show car, a full-service cash bar serving great tasting Miller Lite and food items for sale.
On the heels of this week’s “under the lights” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series testing excitement at Richmond International Raceway, even more stars return to America’s Premier Short Track, August 26-27. Prior to the September 7 Federated Auto Parts 400 – “One Last Race to Make The Chase” – at America’s Premier Short Track, drivers will prepare their cars at RIR, and grandstands will be open free to the public from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. each night.
