Director of Communications

Brent S. Gambill has spent a career building communications strategies and practices nationally. Presently, he serves as Director of Communications at Richmond Raceway. In his role, he leads the communications and public relations strategy for the organization including oversight of the website, social media, and video production.

Brent has previously built two digital practices for full-service agencies. In his role as Senior Director of Digital and Social Media at Mitchell Communications Group, he provided digital programs and strategy for fully integrated plans for clients, and new business. Clients supported include Walmart, Procter & Gamble, Hilton, Del Monte, Nissin, Old Spice, and Swiffer. Brent further established new internal marketing initiatives for the agency as part of the Dentsu Aegis Network as well as external content marketing strategies. In 2012, he founded the digital and social media practice at Martin-Wilbourn Partners  in Little Rock, where he was Vice President, Digital & Social Media. He developed and directed all digital marketing and advertising campaigns, and led group and one-on-one social media training.

Brent has spent the majority of his professional career in sports, having worked as Executive Producer for Sports Programming and MLB Network Radio at SiriusXM Radio in Washington, D.C. and New York, N.Y. He originally joined XM Satellite Radio as a producer working with the Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster and former New York Yankees and ESPN talent, Charley Steiner. He founded SiriusXM Sports social media, developing the digital strategy, standards and practices, training and directing social media efforts for multiple sports properties including the National Football League and Major League Baseball.

Prior to joining SiriusXM, Brent began his career in public relations for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
