Richmond Raceway Introduces 3-Wide Virginia Craft Beer Fest to 3-Wide Fan Hospitality
The iconic fan experience at Richmond Raceway continues to grow with the addition of the 3-Wide Virginia Craft Beer Fest in 3-Wide Fan Hospitality on Saturday, April 21 prior to the TOYOTA OWNERS 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race. Partnering with the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild, this new fan amenity will further enhance the iconic Richmond race day.
“The Richmond region is known for its wide variety of craft breweries, and now we are able to offer them to our fans during the Toyota Spring Race Weekend,” said Richmond President Dennis Bickmeier. “This new attraction will allow fans to get a sampling of the great breweries in the Capital City, and fans might even find a new favorite to enjoy during the iconic Richmond racing experience.”
3-Wide Fan Hospitality will continue to take place in the Old Dominion Building and will now include entry into the 3-Wide Virginia Craft Beer Fest. In addition to craft beers, fans who purchase 3-Wide will also be treated to food and an appearance by 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Champion Martin Truex Jr.
“Partnering with Richmond Raceway is a great opportunity to expose Virginia craft beer to NASCAR enthusiasts traveling to the Commonwealth for the Toyota Spring Race Weekend,” said Virginia Craft Brewers Guild President & CEO Brett Vassey. “The 3-Wide Virginia Craft Beer Fest will offer NASCAR fans the ultimate race experience, an opportunity to meet owners and brewers, and enjoy award-winning Virginia craft beers.”
Fans who have purchased tickets, but not 3-Wide Fan Hospitality can add on the 3-Wide Virginia Craft Beer Fest in advance for $30. RICHMOND NATION Season Ticket Holders receive a discounted rate of $25 per ticket. Tickets to the 3-Wide Virginia Craft Beer Fest can also be purchased on the day of the event.
Tickets to the fest includes unlimited tastings of various craft beers from independent craft breweries across the Commonwealth. Each participating brewery will serve two of their flagship craft beers. Fans can taste each of these unique offerings with a ticket. Food is only available for fans who purchase the 3-Wide Fan Hospitality option.
