Mike D’s BBQ Named the Official Sponsor of Group Tailgate at Richmond Raceway
Richmond Raceway announces a multiyear partnership with Mike D’s BBQ for naming rights to the Group Tailgate at America’s Premier Short Track. The official name will now be Group Tailgate presented by Mike D’s BBQ.

Michael De Los Santos, nicknamed Mike D, is the founder of Mike D’s BBQ, an award-winning line of signature barbecue sauces and all-purpose dry rubs. For years, Mike D was refining his sauces and rubs to find the perfect combination of sweet and smoky with a little bite. After successfully competing in some amateur sauce maker competitions, Mike D’s BBQ launched in 2013. The following year, Mike D’s BBQ continued their strong sales and steady growth with the launch of a Sweet & Spicy rub.
Today, Mike D’s BBQ products have all won awards, including the All Purpose Rub winning the 2017 World Champion Dry Rub/Fowl in the World Hot Sauce Awards. Richmond Raceway 2019 NASCAR Season
The 2019 NASCAR season at Richmond returns “under the lights” for both race weekends hosting the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) at America’s Premier Short Track.
Richmond’s NASCAR Playoff Race Weekend will start the NXS Playoffs with the Go Bowling 250 playoff race and host the second race of the Monster Energy Series Playoffs with the Federated Auto Parts 400 playoff race on Sept. 20-21.

The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) will run the inaugural PASS Commonwealth Classic on Saturday, March 30 at Richmond.
