You're invited to celebrate the holiday season with Richmond Raceway. The track is hosting its annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting on Tuesday, December 4 at 6:30 p.m. Members of the local community are encouraged to come out and enjoy this festive event that will include music and a visit by Santa.

Matt DiNardo, meteorologist for WRIC ABC 8 News, will once again be the master of ceremonies for the event. Students from Laburnum Elementary School and L. Douglas Wilder Middle School have thoughtfully crafted decorations for the Christmas tree. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Laburnum Elementary School choir and the Mighty Marching Warriors from Henrico High School. Hot chocolate and cookies will be generously provided by the Henrico High School Football Boosters.

When: Tuesday, December 4 at 6:30 p.m.

Where: Richmond Raceway Main Gate located at the corner of Richmond-Henrico Turnpike and Laburnum Avenue.

Parking: Attendees are asked to enter the facility via the Service Gate located on Richmond-Henrico Turnpike and will be directed where to park.

Once the Richmond Raceway community Christmas tree is lit, it will shine bright each night through Christmas Day.
