“When the green flag waves for The Great American Race at Daytona International Speedway, the new NASCAR season will officially be underway,” said Richmond President Dennis Bickmeier. “We look forward to welcoming race fans from around the region to celebrate the start of the 2019 NASCAR season in the TORQUE Club. This is going to be another memorable Richmond race season with the spring debut of the modernized infield over the Toyota Spring Race Weekend and the second year hosting the NASCAR Playoffs this fall.”

The DAYTONA 500 Viewing Party will begin on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. with the green flag waving at 2:30 p.m. on FOX. The party will continue until the checkered flag waves for the winning driver, who will become the first member of the 2019 NASCAR Playoffs. Fans in attendance are encouraged to bring their favorite race-watching snacks and drinks. Alcoholic beverages are permitted, but no glass is allowed.

Admission is free for both RICHMOND NATION and the general public. RICHMOND NATION season ticket holders who bring their 2018 membership card will be part of an exclusive raffle for prizes.
