Executive Chef

Chef Ellen Edenfield is a southern girl through and through; she was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida where she started her culinary career. Jacksonville is where Chef first fell head over heels in love with the sports and entertainment world of food service.

Chef received an associate’s degree in Culinary Management from Florida State College at Jacksonville in 2003, a ProChef Certification, and she became a Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC) in 2011.

After several seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars and traveling across the country working major events, the opportunity to relocate to Las Vegas, Nevada arose. Here she was able to work the NASCAR circuit, it quickly became her all-time favorite working experience. A few races in, her journey in the food industry lead her to other service types including convention centers and arenas. This eventually led to moving to Anaheim California where she spent 5 seasons with the MLB team the Anaheim Angels.

Chef’s most treasured opportunity from her 14+ years in the industry was when asked to assist in the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver Canada.

After working countless mega events over the next decade, the journey led her to her home in Richmond where she says, “my heart is happy.”

Chef Ellen enjoys spending time with her two dogs, playing billiards, and flexing her vocal chords at karaoke nights. She enjoys all outdoor sports, including camping, hiking, whitewater rafting, and rock climbing are at the top of the list. In spare time, when she is not supporting RICHMOND sister tracks, she  likes to help out at the local food bank a few days each month and spend time making food for the Meals on Wheels program here in Richmond, VA.
