Richmond Raceway to Host Second Annual Garage Sale on Saturday, November 17

Richmond Raceway will host a Garage Sale on Saturday, November 17 for the second consecutive year. In preparation for the 2019 season, Richmond will open the doors to the new Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series garages in the DC Solar FanGrounds for fans to shop for racing memorabilia. There will be various pieces of NASCAR history at Richmond, including banners, merchandise, and tires available for sale.

“Our first Garage Sale last year was a hit in the racing community, so we look forward to welcoming fans back to take home a piece of NASCAR history from Richmond Raceway,” said Richmond President Dennis Bickmeier. “From signs to branded apparel, there will be something for everyone. The Garage Sale will also be the perfect time for a tour of the new DC Solar FanGrounds on Saturday, November 17.”

In addition to finding the latest item for their NASCAR collection, fans will have the opportunity to take a photo with Richmond Raceway trophies, drive a virtual lap in the Richmond iRacing simulator, enjoy a food truck, and many other activities. The Victory Lane Club in the DC Solar FanGrounds will also be open to fans with televisions showing race day coverage from Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Fans can take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Virginia Business Systems Media Center. For an additional charge, fans can see the track from the passenger seat for pace car rides around the historic ¾-mile D-shaped oval. Any fans purchasing 2019 season tickets at the track that day will get a free behind the scenes tour.

RICHMOND NATION Season Ticket Holders will have first access beginning at noon. RICHMOND NATION members are asked to bring their membership hard card in order to be admitted during the early access time. The general public will be admitted beginning at 1 p.m. with the Garage Sale ending at 4 p.m.

Fans are asked to enter through the Main Gate located at the corner of Laburnum Avenue and Richmond-Henrico Turnpike. From there, they will be directed to park in the infield.
