Richmond Raceway will host families and friends from around the greater Richmond region for a family-friendly drive-through experience at the Richmond Holiday Light Show at America‘s Premier Short Track. The experience opens on Friday, Nov. 19.

Dozens of displays featuring hundreds of thousands of colored lights synched to festive seasonal music will delight visitors at the Richmond Holiday Light Show. Guests will enjoy all the spectacular displays, using the latest LED technology and digital animations. Over a mile long, the experience lasts 20-25 minutes and runs on select dates from Nov. 19 through Dec. 30. Best viewed when it is dark, the show will begin nightly at 5 p.m. and stay open, on some nights, as late as 11 p.m.

“For years, Richmond Raceway has hosted families at our Community Christmas Tree, but this year we‘re expanding the experience to bring fans in the facility for the Richmond Holiday Light Show,” said Dennis Bickmeier, Richmond Raceway President. “The expansive family-friendly experience will offer the community a safe, festive experience to enjoy the holidays at America‘s Premier Short Track.”

There is so much more to enjoy, but I don‘t want to give away all of the surprises,” he added.
