How do drivers qualify?

Qualification is based strictly on points standings at the end of the regular season. The top 16 drivers advance to the postseason.

Is "win and in" still a thing?

No. A race win no longer guarantees a spot in The Chase. Advancing to the postseason is based entirely on regular-season points standings.

Are there eliminations once The Chase begins?

No. Unlike the previous elimination-style format, there are no cutoff rounds. Every driver who makes The Chase races for the championship all the way to the season finale.

How is the champion determined?

Whichever driver in The Chase has the most points after the season finale wins the championship.

Reseeded For The Chase

Points are re-seeded once, right after the regular season ends, based on where each driver finished. The regular-season champion earns a 25-point cushion over the second seed as a reward for sustained excellence all year. Drag the slider to see any seed's starting total.
